Artist Statement:

Artists have sculpted the human forms for thousands of Years. These forms have been made using natural products generated by the earth ( Clay, Iron, Bronze, and Marble)
Ceramists have been producing works of art by manipulating and combining the earths products with glorious results in glazes showing depth variety , colors that match and exceed the earths natural phenomena.
The most striking glazes are proceed using high temperatures and manipulating oxygen quantities in the firing process. The high temperature create great stresses which put boundaries on the sculptural size and shape.
