French painter and the younger sister of philosopher Simone de Beauvoir
Henriette-Hélène de Beauvoir was a French painter. She was the younger sister of philosopher Simone de Beauvoir. Her art was exhibited in Europe, Japan, and the US. She married Lionel de Roulet. en.wikipedia.org

  • Hélène de Beauvoir is the sister of the writer Simone de Beauvoir.  Since 1936, she has exhibited in Paris, Florence, Venice, Milan, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Hamburg.  She featured in the Paris Salon de Mai in 1960.  Her Cubist-influenced paintings on a variety of themes are decorative in character.
