My favorite medium is acrylic to capture movement and life quickly and fluidly from my mind. Each brush stroke is about the translation of my inner world in movement and colors. I let the brushes dance and the colors sing with no expectations. I watch the characters and graffiti born on my canvas as a spectator and I rarely know upfront what the finished painting will look like. The shapes, textures, and colors build upon themselves into my inner monologue where force, softness or rage come to life and are welcomed. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the people around them, to discover beauty in unusual places and to celebrate the strongness of women’s and the marks they make on the world.
